It has been a while since my last post... But all is well! Ronnie Hufnagel the owner and breeder of the two Friesian stallions, Paul and Patrick, paid us a visit this past week. She was very impressed with how they were coming along and we are both very excited for the future. The boys will go to a show or two this summer, they are really coming along.
The weekend was also Equine Affair here in Columbus. It is a collection of all that is horses, from clinics and breed demonstrations to the latest in equine products. Old Oak Farm and owner Denise Phillips was happy to have a her AWS Stallion, Norman, Participating in one of the clinics. Norman was ridden by Abigail Postale in a clinic with grand prix competitor Angela Moore. Abby really showed her skills and was extremely professional, we are very happy for her to represent Old Oak Farm.
We are gearing up for our first outing of the spring. Although the plan was to head to Maryland and compete at Fairhill Horse Trials, we decided to stay local and head up to Cleveland for the Annual Jumper Prix Devilles at Lake Erie College. Black will be competing in the individual day on Saturday.
Keep checking back for pictures of the Friesians and Jumper Prix Devilles!
